Helena König sheds light on the EU’s role in global trade

Helena König, Deputy Director-General of the Directorate-General of Trade in the European Commission, shared insights and analysis at Asia House during a briefing with Corporate Members.
The EU’s position within the shifting global trade landscape, the current US-China trade tensions, and the developments likely to emerge in world trade were all discussed during the briefing, which was held as part of the Asia House New Global Trade Order Series.
Chaired by Asia House Chief Executive Michael Lawrence, the briefing also touched on US-EU trade relations, and gave Asia House Corporate Members the chance to engage with a key figure in global trade.
