EU Ambassador to Malaysia shares post-election insights at Asia House

HE Maria Castillo Fernandez, Ambassador and Head of Delegation of the EU to Malaysia, provided a comprehensive private briefing at Asia House this morning, focusing on the situation in Malaysia following the shock election result in May.
The role of the EU delegation to Malaysia is to promote closer ties between Malaysia and the EU, connecting government, businesses and civil society institutions. Based on her role as head of this delegation, the Ambassador shared her perspectives on the current, as well as prospective, political and economic situation in the country.
The briefing provided attendees with unique insights to help mitigate risks and maximise opportunities in this unprecedented period of Malaysian politics.
