Asia House Chief Executive Michael Lawrence chaired a private briefing with the President of Indonesia Joko Widodo (commonly known as Jokowi) and a number of senior representatives of Asia House corporate members on Wednesday.

The private discussion brought together leading business figures from some of the world's biggest companies to discuss the investment climate in Indonesia, reforms, opportunities, infrastructure and deregulation, among other topics.

President Jokowi was accompanied by Thomas Lembong, Minister of Trade; Bambang Permadi Soemantri Brodjonegoro, Minister of Finance; Susi Pudjiastuti, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries; Darmin Nasution, Coordinating Minister of Economics; Retno Marsudi, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Pramono Anung, Cabinet Secretary.

Corporate members represented at the table included Aggreko, Arup, BP, HSBC, Jardine Matheson, and Standard Chartered.
