Asia House will welcome Odile Renaud-Basso, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), on 18 October for an in-person briefing with Corporate Members.
Renaud-Basso will share her assessment on the economic headwinds facing Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia amid the Ukraine-Russia conflict, slowing growth and rising global inflation.
The EBRD President will also discuss the bank’s current initiatives, including the Solidarity Package - a range of measures to support dozens of emerging markets as they navigate economic challenges.
Appointed President of the EBRD in November 2020, Renaud-Basso will also provide insights on the bank’s long-term strategy to green the region’s economy, drive digital transformation, and ensure equal opportunities.
