How infrastructure development is opening up

opportunities to and across the region

Global trade policy is at a crossroads. The rise of emerging economies and the growing importance of regional trade initiatives are reshaping trade routes. Home to some of the fastest-growing economies, Asia is at the heart of global trade and has become central to Europe’s growth prospects. New infrastructure development across the region will open market opportunities for European businesses and further advance connectivity.

This Signature Conference, co-organised by Asia House and HSBC, will bring together business leaders, senior policy makers and opinion formers for a stimulating and forward-looking discussion on how Asia’s infrastructure is changing trade connections and commerce across - and to - the region.

Douglas Flint, Group Chairman of HSBC, together with Thierry De Longuemar, Vice President of Asian Development Bank (Finance and Risk Management), will jointly open the conference.
