Trusts and foundations

To continue our mission and reach the goal of our fundraising appeal for a new auditorium and a new gallery at our headquarters, we at Asia House actively encourage donations and grants from various trusts and foundations.

These contributions to our finances will also help us to expand our cultural and charitable work, and to continue other projects such as the conservation and maintenance of 63 New Cavendish Street, the acquisition of books and paintings and academic support (internships and scholarships).

In the past, we have received valuable support from leading trusts and foundations including the James Hsioung Lee Foundation, the Alaghband Foundation and the Garfield Weston Foundation, and significant donations from such corporate benefactors as Hutchison Whampoa (Mr Li Ka-shing) and Dr Johnny S H Hon.

We are seeking support for individual programme strands such as education or exhibitions as well as running country specific programmes such as India, China etc where corporate, cultural and educational activities can be combined and staffed with dedicated support.

We are prepared to work with institutions to create programming that would fulfil our mutual objectives.
