‘The appeal is for the construction of a new gallery and an auditorium’

As we prepare to take on the challenges of the new ‘Asian Century’, your support is critical in helping us to strengthen relationships and promote understanding among the people, leaders and institutions of Asia and the UK. We welcome commitments of financial support from all friends, businesses and foundations.

There are a number of ways that you can do this.

Naming opportunities

Name a room

Substantial donations are sought for specific areas of our London headquarters, which will be named in recognition of the significant contribution that has been made by the individual or organisation concerned.

Name a chair

Adopt a chair at Asia House and play your part in the future of London’s premier pan-Asian centre. For as little as £50, a personalised plaque will be affixed to the back of a chair for five years. You can do this in your own name or to honour someone special.

Fundraising appeal

The appeal is for the construction of a new 150 sq metre gallery and an auditorium suitable for 150 people. It will also be used for critical revenue funding to enable our cultural and charitable work to expand.

We encourage the maximum possible participation in this exciting project and welcome donations of any amount.

Benefits to donors

Donations of £1,000+ The names of donors will appear in a publication, and the donors themselves will be given honorary life membership of Asia House.
Donations of £10,000+ In addition to the above, donors will be recognised as founder patrons, and their names will appear on a ‘donor board’ to be displayed in the reception area. There it will be seen by the more than 35,000 visitors that come to Asia House every year, many of whom are leading figures in the world of UK and Asian arts, politics and business.
Donations of £100,000+ In addition to the above, donors will be recognised as founder benefactors. They will have preference in the use of Asia House’s facilities for their own private or corporate entertaining, including exclusive use of the Gallery for private viewings.

Founder benefactors and founder patrons will also have special events organised for them annually.
