From a land where comedy lurks in every corner,
comes a comedian
who can barely stand up. His name is Jit Murad and he’s sort
of big in
Kuala Lumpur.
Asia House is bringing his wickedly funny sense of humour to London
for
the first time in a show featuring excerpts from his latest Dramalab
Kuala
Lumpur production, Full of Jit.
Jit has written plays and musicals for theatre, television and film.
He is
a founding member of Dramalab and The Instant Cafe Theatre. His
most
successful production, Gold Rain and Hailstones, has played to full
houses
in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Singapore. An actor, raconteur, playwright,
philosopher and social commentator, Jit is often described as the
Malaysian
Woody Allen.
Members’ Priority Booking Period to 1 May then open to the
public.
