Malaysia’s foremost political and social cartoonist, Lat’s work graces the
pages of the New Straits Times, the country’s oldest English language
newspaper. His cartoons provide a unique insight into what it means to
be Malaysian, ranging from his rural childhood in Kampung Boy, to biting
political satire and commentary on Malaysia’s unique ethnic mix. Lat will
discuss his life and work in an illustrated talk.
