Malaysia’s foremost political and social
cartoonist, Lat’s work graces the
pages of the New Straits Times, the country’s oldest English
language
newspaper. His cartoons provide a unique insight into what it means
to
be Malaysian, ranging from his rural childhood in Kampung Boy, to
biting
political satire and commentary on Malaysia’s unique ethnic
mix. Lat will
discuss his life and work in an illustrated talk.
