with Yellow Earth Theatre.

Wednesday 27 June, 2007, Doors 6.30pm
Performance 6.45-7.30pm

Atomic Jaya confirmed young playwright Huzir Sulaiman’s reputation as
one of the most interesting voices coming out of Malaysia today. A biting
social satire on Malaysia’s aspirations to become a nuclear powerhouse,
the play takes pot shots at a broad range of targets in Malaysian society
and the international community.

A rehearsed reading of the play will be performed by members of Yellow
Earth Theatre, directed by founding member Kwong Loke. Yellow Earth was
established in 1995 to produce high quality ensemble performances using
traditions of east and west and to explore and celebrate experiences of the
Asian diaspora.
