1st July 2007 marks the 10th Anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to
China. What changes have taken place in these past ten years?
What is Hong Kong like today?

David Tang is Hong Kong’s most famous face. He is passionate about
things Chinese and has founded the China Club, Shanghai Tang and the
restaurant China Tang at the Dorchester Hotel in London. In addition to
these very fashionable creations, David Tang is also involved in a wide
range of businesses from oil exploration and gold mining to promoting
Cuban cigars. He also serves as an advisor to multi-nationals and
international brands.

David Tang was born in Hong Kong into a fourth generation of Cantonese
refugees. He was sent to boarding school in England and went on to read
Philosophy at university and attended Law College. David Tang has recently
published An Apple a Week, a compilation of selected articles which he has
written for the English column of the influential Hong Kong newspaper, Apple
Daily. Join us as David Tang shares his reminisces, experiences and views
of Hong Kong.
