UNFINISHED BUSINESS IN IRAN

LUNCHTIME LECTURE BY JON SNOW
Monday 15 May 2006, 12.30pm at Asia House

Following his recent return from Iran for Channel Four News presenter
Jon Snow will talk about Iran beyond the nuclear stand-off. He will discuss
America's unfinished business as well as consider current challenges the
country faces, such as the disconnect between the clerics and the young.
Finally he will discuss the pivotal roll the country needs to be allowed to
play as a regional power if peace is ever to prevail from the Jordan to
the Euphrates.

Jon Snow has been presenter of Channel Four News for seventeen years
and a reporter with ITN for thirty years. He was voted Journalist of the Year
this year by the Royal Television Society and was honoured with a BAFTA
last year for his work.
